He'd certainly gain a new, more female oriented audience, that's for sure and hey, more dames at the concerts is a bonus for us dudes.

Tour starts September 4th so that's two weeks before the official release in the US. Only the standard jewel case will be on sale earlier so Limited Edition 2CD and vinyl won't be on sale until official release dates.
Oh hi there! You wouldn't be the same Jasper from the Opeth forums, would you?

No time for US fests this year unfortunately but maybe next year. Europe usually takes priority with festivals because there's so many in the same period you can route them together and keep costs down. Plus they pay a lot better... But you're right that festivals are the way to go in the US to get more exposure for the DTP.

However seeing him in a small club setting in Columbus where he just walked into the crowd before and during the concert was mind-blowing! Best concert experience I have ever had, and Devy isn't even my favorite artist! (Top 5)

I tried reading what you wrote but I kept seeing "Devy isn't even my favorite artist!" and that didn't make sense to me. It seemed like you were saying that Devin Townsend wasn't your favorite, but that's silly. So, I had to read it a few more times and I finally had to just concede that my reading comprehension is low and I am unable to understand the words you wrote.
Unless... No. No, it couldn't be. I am experiencing cognitive dissonance. Don't mind me.
