I didn't read DaVinci Code, but I did read Angels and Demons. It was diverting and entertaining. A good thriller and interesting. Definitely worth the price of a paper back.

Agreed. I've read them both and another one of his just because I wanted something not overly mind blowing or chalelgning, just a nice simple read, and they were and very enjoyable :) They're not perfect books, but then that's not really what they are meant to be

Awesome! One of my favorite books is "Childhood's End". I also liked the Rama and Space Odyssey novels.

But my all time favorite is probably "Catch-22" by Heller, which I saw was already mentioned.

Runner-ups:
-"Ubik" by Philip K. Dick
-"The Invisible Man" by H.G. Wells
-the Hitchhiker "Trilogy" by Douglas Adams
-"The Bourne Supremacy" by Robert Ludlum (completely different from the movie, and a thousand times better)

I second that.
Angels and demons got me reading again, before that I hadn't touched a book since I was like 15. It's an entertaining book that mixes fact and fiction in a really cool way, better than the davinci code IMO. Plus, if you're a sucker for logos like I am, there's some awesome stuff in there... ;)
