Nope. But they still kick ass. They're recording a new album right now! Whoohoo!

Did you listen to this clips? I mean, it's not even a question, too much of the U2 song is simply identical. Lame.

I'm a big fan of Radiohead myself. I find OK Computer, the Bends, and Hail to the Thief being listened to quite a bit.

My girl friend got me into Radiohead. Before then, I had the ignorant belief that they were simply a bunch of moaning sissie - the common belief held by a lot of metallers with regard to the indie scene (Belle & Sebastian anyone?)

So, anyway I guess what I'm saying is that once I actually heard some Radiohead properly I thought it was superb. Now OK Computer and Kid A are amongst my favourite albums. Amnesiac seems good too but I've only had it about two weeks and I'm studying part-time at college so between work and that, I don't have much time.

What's Hail to the Theif like?

I didn't like Radiohead until I heard "Paranoid Android" while tripping on magic mushrooms. At that point I started to realize they were far mor than another commercialized arena-alt-rock band...

OK Computer is good, but The Bends is a fucking brilliany album. There are a couple of tracks there that are so damn rawk! Plus the production on that album is fantastic.

WRT U2, The Unforgettable Fire and Achtung Baby are good albums, and I quite like Rattle & Hum as well. The Joshua Tree had some good songs and some crap songs. I can take it or leave it.

U2 started to suck when they came back as a Jane's Addiction tribute band with their last effort. I thought Vertigo was Jane's Addiction first time I heard it.

Radiohead invented an entire genre of post-rock madness. Mogwai springs to mind as another favourite.

Not so weird when you consider how much better Therapy? are.

I was reccommended Radiohead from listening to Muse alot, I dismissed it because I didn't find any impressive melody in it, then last year I managed to get into it, I love all their albums (except their bastard son Pablo Honey) to some high extent, and to those who said they haven't liked what they've heard, you really can't judge them by one song, because it's all so different. Try comparing "Just", "No Surprises", "Idioteque", "Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box", and "Backdrifts".

I find Kid A to be one of the greatest albums of all time. Not a weak spot on there, "National Anthem" aside.

Hail to the Thief is awesome. It finds a perfect medium between their psychedelic arena-rock sound and the twitchy elecronica that they've been favouring in recent years. It doesn't really contain any of their best songs, yet it has more good songs than any of their other records. It's a damned solid album.

Am I reading this correctly when I think that you would say "National Anthem" is a weak spot? You're so contradictory, man!

Yeah... I LOVE every track on this but I only like "National Anthem"... I think that "Motion Picture Soundtrack" is the single greatest radiohead song in existence and that "How to Dissapear Completely" is a close second, "Treefingers" blows me away and "In Limbo" is fucking incredible... Kid A is the shit.
