When do you most like to listen to anything Devin?

I always find the weather plays a big part in what I want to listen to...tonight driving home in the dark in the rain listening to ocean machine was awesome....I'd forgotten how good it is to listen to that album in the rain and dark

Lets see....Noisy Pink Bubbles gets put on most mornings...puts me in a great mood. Devlab's what I fall asleep to. Ocean Machine usually gets a spin on the way to work.

i usually listen to accelerated evolution when i'm kinda down and Alien too, when i start getting down-pissed :p
Guess it's because when i started listening to them, i was feeling like that a lot and often, so it kinda helps now,
dunno.

im a weather person too and well, its approaching summer here, and i dont think Dev is for summer. we'll see how it goes :)

I used to always have Dev in my walkman when I was walking through crowds/on the bus...made me feel invincible

I love that as well, walking through crowds with Strapping blaring at a volume that would melt glass.

I like listening to Infinity while working out, for some reason. Some of it really gets the blood pumping. Physicist is good for this as well. I like listening to AE while I am here, 'cos I can feel a connection with the band. :D Ocean Machine and Terria I reserve for more contemplative moments, such as when reading or stargazing... 8)

It is ALL good.

Driving is a major time for me as well. When driving to work in the morning over the summers I would often put on some Dev really loud to keep me up, but also to have something with a good melody and atmosphere to it. It's about the only stuff I'd listen to on my way to work.

I listen to all the albums when ever I can. Although I do get an erge to want to listen to tracks off ocean machine at night. Or anytime when it's raining, day or night. I'm always in the mood for Physicist, really picks me up that album. The other albums just whenever I can though cause it always gets me in the mood to play my guitar. Always makes me feel like writing something new. I'm kinda useless with writing lyrics also, but listening to devin songs makes me want to. Although I would like to better understand some of his songs (lyrically) before writing anything of my own as I would just say things how they are instead of getting metaphors and stuff in there.

So uh, yeah. When ever I get the chance to listen, I do as I always feel somewhat inspired after listening.

I listen to Devy at pretty much any time I can...but the times that it most affects me is when there is something else happening that is beautiful in itself.

For example, I have a very strong memory of walking through miles and miles of fields in the sun while listening to Terria. Also, listening to City while cycling through endless countryside at night was mindblowing. Especially when you can see the stars.

Seriously, try listening to 'Spirituality' while staring at a sky full of stars.

I always have my MiniDisc player on full blast when I am out walking though, its the best way to use music. It really does make you feel invincible! It also puts you at great risk of getting run over while crossing the road, but thats just something you have to be aware of heh.
