I finished arranging and recording my Dev cover...I did a marimba interpretation of "Canada" and it sounds really cool...at least I think it does.

However, I need help posting it on here somehow. What's a good way to do it?

I really hope this makes it to the HevyDevy site!

Well, here it is!

http://s51.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1JK9 ... 8FLQ5VAPW3

This is me playing my arrangement. It's a really simple piece for 4 mallet marimba (2 mallets in each hand). I decided to take out the middle section with the slowed down "bird" kid, I had a part written but it just didnt sound very good.

Also, recording it was tough, I was in a very small room (but on a very big marimba...6 octaves) and so some of the notes are too loud and some are too soft. I hope you'll all get the idea though, this isn't really about my performance of it as much as it is about seeing what it sounds like.

is the marimba difficult to learn?
how long have you been playing?
do you play in a group?

what song is next for 'marimba-ification'?

(i especially enjoy the riff @ 3m10s)
