I think it would be pretty awful. Let's be logical, how can a song like OMFG or Underneath the waves sound nice on acoustic guitar ... Do you wanna waste a barbecue party ???

I don't mind hearing awful stuff :) Any musician out there can try and cover it?

I think the songs from OM and AE are best suited for an accoustic show, whereas i like the idea of orchestral stuff with Infinity and Terria (and of course Synchestra  ).

Geoff, a truly great song can always be done acoustically. That's what I've always thought.

As for an acoustic version of "War," man, I had a lot of ideas for that one! I planned on doing like 20 guitars tracks! Hahaha. A different acoustic track for all those weird effects and shit, it was going to be cool. Of course, I'm probably not good enough at the geeetar to pull it off, but in my head it was awesome! =)

Dude, if we could do that, imagine how awesome some records would sound! Especially with Dev coz he's bound to have thought up stuff that's pretty much impossible to do, ya know?

Oh I know, getting ideas can be hard but it always seems to be getting ideas out of your head into the physical world thats always harder. Anyone could think up the worlds most amazing guitair solo but theres nothing saying they could acually play it.

Exactly. I've conjured up several kick ass ideas only to realize that there's no way it could possibly ever happen. Damn it, I need magic!

What about a double disc featuring new songs as well as re-arranged acoustic versions of already released Dev songs?

I've asked him to do that and was hoping he could do it before Christmas but it's not a priority. Obviously the DT record is most important.

Maybe this christmas then?

yeah right, NO ONE wakes up at night more than a baby, Reyner probably will make him stay more nights awake than when he was making Infinity

Not a bad idea Eyesore, I wouldn't mind seeing an upcoming album to be just acoustic stuff. I would buy it. :P
