We're ALL ready for the release! Except for the guys from the DTB!!! What's wrong with them?

That's gonna be the first time that there are three years between two Devy (solo) albums... Or to say it in Tom Petty's words: The waiting is the hardest time... *sing*

From what I've gathered from Dev....we will definitely be touring the next album. Where and when we tour.... have not been decided or even looked at, at this point. Please remember that we (DTB) have no control over booking tours and stuff. That's up to the Booking Agents and the
Record Labels.

I'm looking forward to hitting the road with this next album....it's going to be cool ! Look forward to seeing all you fans out there too !

Thats great news. I think I could give a persuasive argument based around "favours" as to why they should book you over here in the UK.

Thanks alot for the news though :).

Damn... I'm looking forward to this.

I was hoping for a 2005 release, but well..... 2006 it is... and I'm jerking off to Alien and all the other SYL/Devin records until then :( Now, when Pantera's dead all I have to do is wait for Devin and Machine Head to release their new shit, hehehe

Hail Devin!!!!!! :P

I'm really anticipating the next album. If the tour gets in between now and the end of summer 2006, I will be able to go. I can't wait to see the Devin Townsend Band live for the first time....^_^

Ehrm.... been there, done that ;)

I like "Destroy, erase, improve", "Chaosphere" and "Nothing" and Opeth is a damn fine band, but they don't have anything to come up with when it comes to bands I listen to... so it is :)

Dillinger has one great record and Amorphis sucks...

HAIL!!!!

you don't liken their new one do you 'Setting fire to sleeping giants'? I think it's bloody awful, i judge that by the fact it's probably the only dillinger song i can actually drum... therefore sub-standard imo.

'Calculating infinity' is a CORKER... they need Dimitri back...

on topic, DTB, new record? bring it the fuck on!!!

What-the-fuck ever. You have no grounds to be saying these things... You listen to Machine Head for fuck's sake... they must be one of the worst bands I've ever heard.

But I'll just leave it there.............
