Easy. It's the band that gets the free beer, not the fans! :x

Is this only my point of view or does anyone else think that Life fits in well into the encore... Maybe as the encore's first song. The guitar melody at the beginning and the powerful way the drums enter after a few seconds makes it a good song to return on stage after a short break (that said, Life would also be a good opener, but I can't think of any song that beats Truth as such)

I remember it well because it's the only Devin Townsend show I have ever been to (and I didn't even get in, I was underage) :(

I mean, I've seen SYL since then but that's not Devin Townsend... that's Devy Metal.

I have a bootleg of that Melbourne concert, done by a friend of mine. I remember being stunned when I saw them play the Om intro though, it was amazing. The other song they played that I believe Devy hardly ever plays was Underneath The Waves

Just listening to it... What a killer!!!

Do you like the live version of it? I know Devy hardly plays it live, and it's because he's got a very hard time with the vocals and especially playing the guitar lines at the same time (read that in several interviews and threads by now)

Getting back to Life... Dudes, BlazingMonga is by far not the only one excited about the acoustic version! So if anyone heard it... Let us know!

I have the bootleg that Metal Mayhem was selling (legally or illegally, I'm not sure) of the Melbourne gig.

Life would have been a cool inclusion that night. If I recall correctly, a couple of blokes kept calling for Christeen to be played during the encore. I spent most of that gig up front, then watched the last couple of songs from the back, perched upon a table. What a great night, witnessing SYL playing songs from all those Devy solo albums, mixed in with SYL stuff.

I was in front of the left speaker stack, with earplugs in of course. My friend bootlegging the concert was standing in pole position, in front of the desk.

I attempted to bootleg the 2003 HiFi gig, but I stupidly forgot to test which channel my mic was recording it on and came out with a useless recording.

I didn't know that Metal Mayhem put out a booteg! now I want it, cos the one I have has great sound but a few huge pops in it from when he moved around and his shirt hit the mic.

Hm. Describing on a forum mainly about a certain musician how you try to bootleg his gigs is quite... What was the word... Decide for yourselves.

Possibly, except I failed miserably at it and wouldn't bother again.

I've seen that bootleg floating around, I've never acuallry realised that was the Terria tour though. Namaste would've been amazing, better than The Complex for sure.
