Ah, yes..."The doctor, is in" if I remember correctly. Must listen to that Aborted album again, it was pretty fat.

The evil dead without bruce campbell is just sickening, I plan to disown this film before I even view it. Evil dead is bruce campbell, the film is nothing without him. All the fans have wanted all these years is Evil Dead 4, and all we got were shitty video games that did nothing for the series.

The hellraiser films have suffered for years now, the plot for the latest one is just ridiculous, but Doug himself has said he will never let anyone else play that role, he just can't stand to see anyone else dressed as pinhead. so as long as they want to make movies involving hellraiser, doug will play pinhead as long as his breathing.

I heard that was a very common defect in the box - either Disc 1 or Disc 2 was faulty, but 95% certainly another one of those was defunct.

Absolutely. I think the first edition of that Lament Configuration Box set was affected by this. And of course I got one of the faulty ones...well, two to be exact. I bought it, brought it back to the store where I bought it and got another faulty one  I happen to know the guy that sold it to me and he sent the faulty DVD back to Anchor Bay and that was 2 months ago. Oh well. He sent them several e-mails already but they seem to be a little slow...

I have it here...a friend and I soaked it out of the net but somehow my PC is too slow to play that damn movie properly  My buddy said it was pretty cool. So has anyone here seen it and was it OK or..not?

I've only seen the first two. I was afraid of the others. Not afraid=scary, but afraid they were making too many to be any good.

Can't forget Front Line Assembly On Millennium, there was a song, damn ed if I can't remember what one..it had a Pinhead line, something like "After decades of pain, this will seem like a memory of heaven."

If you like Barker and can read his stuff...definately check out Cabal (book version of the movie Nightbreed), and The Theif Of Always....

Sorry to jaunt off topic, but speaking of Nightbreed...did anyone see it? David Chronenberg as a machete wielding psychopathic psychiatrist serial killer is aces. His mask with button eyes and zipper mouth is creepy.

a friend of mine has told me about Nightbreed and said it's a cool movie and that it's really crazy so I have to check that one out for sure.

@Persuader: you can find it easily on p2p just to check it out. Here in Germany it will be released for rental next month I think and then in stores one month later. Definitely looking forward to it. I checked out some scenes on my friend's PC and they were pretty cool.

From http://www.dtheatre.com/read.php?sid=2831

At this point it looks like Campbell and Raimi will be strictly producing this reinvention of the film that started it all for them, an unfortunate conclusion for those of us who grew up with "The Evil Dead
