I used to like watching soaps to unwind after work ... its so good not havintg to think for a while but I have kind of given up as work means I miss them and don't have a clue whats going on when I do see them. LOL How come Emmerdale wasn't on the list hehe

I do watch the "big" episodes when I can though as they are generally worth watching ... so Tuesday for Katy killing her dad but I guess not on the same night will she be killing herself so thats another night I will probably watch.

Hollyoaks I can't stand but yes, they do have a pretty cast.

Granted...I am female, so may not be in the best position to judge here, but have you seen her shoulders? She looks like she could wrestle the entire Corrie cast into submission within about 7 seconds!

There's no need to watch all this stuff anyways, I just read the tv mag for 5 mins every week and essentially know the entire plot and most of the characters.

I wish that would satisfy me... i think it's my girlfriend maybe got me back into them... now i'm hooked. It's like some beautiful beautiful drug...

I think i need help... Maybe i should go see Trisha.

I don't watch any soaps, but I'd probably say that benders is better than Corrie.

Hollyoaks on the other hand is possibly the biggest wrongcast going. It's not glamourous, it's not funny, it's not drama, what is it?

'kin shite that's what it is.

Yep, that's me. I'm a researcher on the show.

In fact I was on it last Saturday. Me and my wife made a cameo as the changing rooms couple who got eaten by the turtles head.

Hmm, a week on saturday is the last show of the series. Fancy doing muck muck?

Obviously you won't get paid, but where else will you get to have an almighty food fight with buckets of custard?

I'm going to take part in the last muck muck, for old times sake.

Ah, you're all forgetting the greatest soap of all Home and Away....there's a murder/horrific accident/natural disaster at least once a week and if you ask me, there's something sinister about Alf Stewart's monopoly on Summer Bay...he used to own everything!

dunno why but i've never been the biggest fan of aussie soaps... i think mainly because the reason i like soaps is because they tend to make me feel glad i don't have their lives (what with the misery and such), but aussie soaps just make me jealous...

I prefer Aussie soaps and Home & Away is the creme de la creme.

I remember these moments fondly:

Sally and her imaginary friend "Milko".

Bobby coming out of the fridge.

The episode where Sally grew massive boobs.

When the surf shop got vandalised with "Alf is a nazi" graffitti.

Oh, there's lots lots more.

But if we're talking Aussie soaps, then we have to talk about Heartbreak High. That was ace, with a rocky themetune.

I remember when Ailsa ('Ills) was going to smother baby Duncan...I must have been about 6, but I was obviously quite horrified by it, cos it stays with me.. For some reason, my memories of watching home and away at that sort of age are really vivid, lol
