OM!!!! The song I mean. Infact, all the songs on the Christeen EP. OM is one of my favourite songs...and that one definately is unappreciated, even by Dev if he thought it was only demo quality.

Aye.

Good call, no one talks about OM. It was great seeing Strapping play part of that live...

I will always return to Funeral, Bastard and The Death of Music as the greatest trilogy of all

However other tracks, definitely Noisy Pink Bubbles, Ants, Down and Under, Om etc

How about "Voices in the Fan" ? Although not necessarily my favorite song, the vocals in the chorus just kick maximum ass.

It's the grey days that
I'll remember the most
It's the grey times in the water
Before morning

The song is so simple, yet very intriguing. :)

Strapping Young Lad's Heavy As A Really Heavy Thing rarely gets mentioned, but I think it's a superb album. It's fun , but well aware of its own ludicrum. The essential building blocks of everything Devin's done since are spattered all over the record. I suppose it's easy to overlook seeing as Devin totally eclipsed it with City two years later, but it still stands up as a solid offering.

...And the live versions of SYL overshadow everything else in their entire catalog! In my very humble opinion, that is... :)

I wouldn't go that far, but the version on No Sleep 'Till Bedtime is superb!
