I also agree, Dire Straits rock, ESPECIALLY Sultans of Swing. MY GOD that's one of my fav classic rock songs.

But seriously...nobody on that list comes close to Zeppelin. AC/DC rock, as do Aerosmith (at least their old bluesy stuff), as do Guns n Roses, but Zeppelin just..wow.

I have to admit, out of all the bands in the poll, I can only put up with Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple... Most people aren't going to agree with me, but some of those bands annoy the hell out of me... Led Zeppelin actually have substance. And don't get me started on KISS.... dear God it's like a bad dream...

i feel that led zepplin is overrated. i mean the song songs or cool, but there is no real musicianship in the band other than john bonham.. van halen on the other hand.... that is rock and roll baby.
