I've always thought that of all metal bands, period, Manowar's always had the most cheesy lyrics. Dragonforce, after hearing a few MP3's posted on here a while back, have quickly moved towards that spot though.

it is a hard subject... but personally i listen to bands like sx to just hear some crazy shit.. the singer can wail, but the lyrics arent personal at all.. its kinda like pirate-rock.

If I wanted to voluntarily listen to wailing I'd either join The Samaritans or move in next door to a banshee!

I voted Rhapsody because they define the cheese.

I think Fear Factory "Archetype" lyrics are silly.

If Manowar read this they would bash you for not being metal enough to stand up for your right to mock power metal bands.

i did have a good chuckle when I watched my first Manowar video / heard my first Manowar song...

the drummer's not bad in a nothing-my-dad-couldn't-do way.
