I went for the Hostages on Tv option. Paul Johnson was killed and all Bush had to say was "we will not be intimidated, god bless Paul Johnson" Im sorry but fuck that! The poor guy died because Bush is too proud to admit that he has fucked up in some many ways regarding the middle east.....see Im getting boiling blood as I type this!

People confusing patriotism for love of government.

I get more worried with how humanity is running further into stupidity and neglecting what really matters.

We are just getting more easily manipulated constantly, because we really dont know what is truth and what isnt, and we dont believe we're going to find out, so we dont feel so worried about choosing to follow the lie. When we expect no consequences, we'll do anything we like. We dont even realise we're doing that anymore, and we all do it to either a larger or smaller extent.

And the simple way to make people follow a lie is by making them scared, and being the comfort for it. A certain event several years ago was of too good a benefit to a certain government to have been unwelcomed by them when it happened. If I were to go even deeper into finding a reason, the most logical explanation is that they created it themselves.

And you know what the worst part is? The majority of people would think that's too immoral for somebody to do, and would never even consider that explanation.

Not to mention how our daily lives are run by logos, advertisements and signs. Its all impulse. Everything we do is almost like cattle.

hopefully none of those as my bloodpressure is already high enough and I gotta take pills..he he...but anyways, I voted for "people confusing patriotism for love of government".

I chose Graphic video footage of hostages being held with knives to their necks because I find I can't stop at the image and in my head I go off into so many tangents relating to the image and end up with brain stew trying to deal the issues I stumble into so that one more than the others as its not just what im presented with but the consequences of the trail of thoughts it leads me down. I have this thing also that whenever I'm confronted with people who are acting in a way that I don't like that I see them as children in the same situation and ponder the significant moments during their life that led them to where they are now so I view the participants of such images in that way. Much as I might hate what I see, it is the situation not the people I hate, I see them as being the culmination of life events and it is those life events I hate rather than them. Waaah this topic is raising my blood pressure, I've always done this automatically, never actually stopped to explain it to anyone before and I'm finding it difficult to do. Its like (I'm a Social Worker) and I work every day with kids in a children's home ... they have "behavioural problems" well I can't see it like that, I see them as kids with problems and there is a huge difference. They aren't the problem, they are trying to deal with things they have been through or behaving how they have been brought up to. Maybe its how I have learned to deal with the work I do, a coping mechanism. Maybe I always see the best in people as opposed to the worst. Maybe it would be less intense to feel differently. Maybe I think too much. It is very much integral to who I am to be this way, I don't think I could change even if I thought I should. It is not people I am mad at it is the structures, politics and society that we live in that gives birth to, feeds and nourishes the enablement of such events. People are merely the puppets with not enough understanding of who or what is controlling the strings, myself included. (I'm sorry if I don't make much sense or if my fever to get this out comes across in a way different to that intended, this hasn't been the easiest thing to try and get out)

Second place would probably be desperately trying to sleep and being unable to when you body is doing its own thing and you can't control it. I don't find it easy if I want to sleep and can't because the next day I don't function fully as "me"

Then babies crying ... sure that's what they do, its their way of communicating so its not them crying that gets me its when I know that they aren't being attended to and just left to cry or when something is happening that shouldn't be and I'm the one who has been sent in to assess knowing my decision could make or break a situation. Babies not crying when they should be because they have grown to learn there is no point, they don't get what they need also trouble my thoughts.

Babies crying isn't annoying unless they're not being attended to. It's more that you wanna go make it better.
