Hearing Nothing on a big home stereo system was a mind expanding venture, I recomend it to any Meshuggah fan.

DEP gets my vote, cos it's like a juggernaut... hits you early and just drags you along the road for a few miles before leaving you in the dirt.

Chaosphere is like... um... you're battered about in a sphere of chaos (heh), that is until you finally get up to sonic speeds, and then you get sucked right back into the core in a supersonic implosive collapse. Not as nice. But still fucking ace.

DEI is the best, out of all of em, but then again I do like all their albums, except for Contradictions Collapse, not too into that one.

DEI without a hitch. It's a perfect metal album and full of great drum patterns and guitar mayhem. Chaosphere comes in a close second and Nothing looms somewhere.

if you want to listen to something that makes Meshuggah sound relatively straight-forward and not at all complex/ mindfuck.... try Curse Of The Golden Vampire.

I was listening to that before and had to sit down afterwards cos it seriously fucked with my head.

Coprofago could pull that off as well.
