^ I approve of you. You like Therapy?

That Devin bloke proper spoils us rotten, innit. Such a nice chap.

Silly musician trying to promote his own record! He should leave that up to the professionals at the record label!

Well that was certainly an epic spoiler. Followed by another one.

Listened to it at work :D, thought "must download this to mp3 when I get home". Get home, and it's been pulled. :(

Just hope it shows up again in some form later on.

Silly label trying to make money.

I have two friends who run indie labels, and their new albums are always being leaked online. Yet they don't send out promo copies, nor do they allow potential reviewers to download the albums. They use a website that streams the albums. Yet they still end up leaked because shitty people just use programs like SoundTap to record streaming media.

So yeah, a big label that isn't doing necessarily "for the love" and can't really afford to lose tons of money, it's an understandable issue.

+1

Not the best move to pull it back after it has been posted on basically every metal news site, i think. The whole system has to change sooner or later, anyways. Jasper explained why they don't make it available as a digital download when pre-orders are up. These were understandable reasons but they make sense only in this dinosaur-reality the music business seems to be (no offense, i don't know how this could be changed).
Glad i heard it, though. But if i had seen it too late i would have been quite angry.

Because of that it was a great idea to make a full preview with commentary. Everybody can listen to it and has some extra-value because of Devin

I would suggest having them upload a terrible quality, 68kbps version of the album to stream instead with nothing but 30 second preview tracks like what Amazon does. I hate to say it but labels who stream whole albums in decent quality are bound to have it ripped and posted online.

Aw what the hell.

My Internet was down for like an hour or two and I missed the whole of Epicloud.

ffffffffffffffffffff

Then again, I think I'd rather listen to the album as it is first, and with Dev's commentary later.
