Yay, it will be a double album!! From Dev's Twitter:

So when the 'Ghost' album was finished, I had 12 songs that came out here and there, supposed to be Ghost 2, couldn't convince label etc..
However, Epicloud has 12 extra songs as well, and they have agreed to let me do a digipak version that is essentially a 'double album' =]
The second disk wont be mixed in the same way, a bit more 'demo-ish' in quality, but it completes this cycle without having stragglers after
...Sweet! =]

If this happens then that'll be fantastic! Even if they're not mixed perfectly it'll still be great to hear what didn't make the cut.

I don't think it's like that. More like finished songs that weren't mixed like finished songs. Or at least probably not demos of songs we know (or demos of songs on Epicloud)

Paradise Lost are fucking awesome. Even though they constantly sound miserable.

Do you mean miserable as in they sound bad or as in they sound depressed? I saw them opening for Nightwish a few years ago and come to think of it yeah, every time they addressed the crowd they sounded completely bummed out. One guy kept yelling for one song and finally the singer just said literally word for word, "No, we're not playing that, so shut up." lolz

Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost singer), has a very dry sense of humour. Follow him on twitter, he's a very amusing guy :)

An example would be when he says that "it's all happening at this festival" and posts a picture of an empty hallway. He's just taking the piss. ;)

I would say they're miserable 'cause they're from Yorkshire, but that'd be a lie. Oh wait, we spawned My Dying Bride too. ;)

Paradise Lost have always been hit and miss for me- but Icon, In Requiem and Tragic Idol are all solid albums. Give them a go.
