I hate when I reread something I wrote and realize I could have phrased it better. Not all american women are hoochies,... but I think I was scarred by going to high school in a rich suburban school that was just filled to the brim with cheerleaders and practically anorexic girls with no self esteem. Does that make more sense? No, not really.
American society puts a lot of emphasis on looks and popularity and I think that has a big impact on our lives and people. Basically, I think the sluts stand out more than the good girls and I probably am too hard on people sometimes,... So ignore me. All I can say to prove my point is "Girls Gone Wild"

Most American girls are easy to get as long as you have no dignity. All you need to do is cut your hair, spike it and bleach the tips. Then you go out to Abercrombie and Fitch and get yourself a new waredrobe. Then get some contacts, pierce your tongue and get either an oriental tattoo (it's chinese for 'What's up?') some barbwire or a tribal tat. Then go out and buy some cheesy sunglasses and abnoxious colonge. Once that is done, you should go out to the bar and drink as much as possible. This might take a few weeks but it is essential that you kill as many brain cells as possible! Next thing you know, you'll be in the club bumping butts with some sleezy trash to Jay-z and wondering if she looks like she has gonorrea or not.

The key word is most. Keep in mind, I'm american myself and what I said was a bitter reaction to the status quo that is established in this country. There is a level of superficiality that really makes my stomach turn. Men are even worse when it comes to being easy to get but I see it every day both ways. There is a certain mold that women have to fit into and that men have to fit into. Everyone accepts that as being the standard for beauty and if you don't conform then you are ostricized.

The point I was trying to make is that the quality of a person's actions and thoughts has given way to materialistic desires. Just look at a show like "The Swan" or "Average Joe", the evidence is in plain view.

This shouldn't be regarded as a blanket statement for there are alot of people that buck the trend. People that have a mature sense of friendship and love with their significant others and a genuine respect of the opposite sex. I'm sure that everyone on this forum is an independant thinker and quite informed enough to seperate the wheat from the chaff.

Yeah, but you don't look like a poor man's Ricky Martin, which is the picture I guess I was trying to paint. People who get cookie cutter tattoos or piercings for the express purpose of looking good for the ladies are who make me sick.

Plus, a SYL tattoo is the essence of a good tat. A butterfly on your ankle or the chinese character for "hate" on your shoulder or whatever isn't.

the kind of people i think you mean, their equivalent over here, or at least aruond where I live is basically people that base their entire image no doubt around the lineup of Lostprophets with their "rock" belts, finely coiffured hairstyles, piercings (more often than not actually clip ons), truckers caps and jeans so low they loook retarded.
