Ok...so the song 'Grace' from Epicloud is turning out to be absurdly, stupidly, hilariously, devastatingly epic....oh, and loud.

Working on a studio vid for ya. I thought this album was just going to be a purge of simple melodic ideas before Z2, but woah...

If I was to equate it to anything: A touch of Queen, a bit of the movie 'Titanic', some Def Leppard, with crushing guitars and drums through...a big blue and white happy smasher!

I agree. For me, the DTP was somekind of transition between ''non-sober Dev'' and ''Sober, happy, peaceful Dev''.
A glimpse of the past and a glimpse of the future.
The logo is totally wicked though...

I think it makes a lot of artistic and financial sense. Dtp is synonymous with an exploitative, stylistically free, dev. It's not a band, it's a project... A way for dev to explore different facets of himself.

Now where be that studio update vid, that's what I wanna know!!!

He said he's just using the DTP logo and didn't explicitly say that it would be 'Devin Townsend Project', right? It could just as easily be 'Devin Townsend Presents', like Ziltoid was.
