Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

Glam/gothic rock.

Finnish band Negative. Karma Killer kills it! I ADORE this song. Why does he remind me of Robin Zander?

While I feel everything but guilt at liking these guys, my friends always give me funny looks.

thats definitley not a guilty pleasure. there should be absolutely ZERO shame and getting down the the EW&F (EW&F is what you call them amongst hardcore and metalcore bands. they all seem to have their little abbreviation)

Ah, I have one I'd rather not let others know I listen to. There's that old, almost proto-techno tune from '90, called Krieg oder Frieden by Duce. It was on very old techno compilation my brother brought on tape ages ago. I like it very much, it's very atmospheric. It's also richly encrusted with samples from 40s German radio, assorted military sounds and something that sounds like Hitler speech. So anybody seeing you listening to it can think you're a massive nazi. But I really like it. And listen to it exclusively in headphones.

Doesn't press play with people nearby:

Yours are merely cheesy, mine makes me look like a rabid rightwinger. Beat that!

waiting for first person admitting they like NSBM

The problem with NSBM is that a lot of the bands I have heard tend to be pretty good musically. I once had a few albums by bands that were NSBM - I didn't know this at the time, however; my ex-friend and I bought a bunch of various underground bands online, little info was given on them, and we liked what we saw; half the stuff was east European, so a lot of the writing was in Cyrillic text. Once I found what their music actually stood for (one CD gave it away with Hitler samples, but mostly it was reading up on them online), I immediately gave the CDs away, and vowed never to listen to them again. This taught me as well to do more research before listening to a band's music.

Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park I suppose, especially when I am talking to sort of hardcore metalheads, elitists. For some reason i never get embarrased when I profess my love for NIN though, despite the fact that in many peoples eyes there are like an electro/pop band or something

I don't really relate much to the whole "guilty pleasures" concept. If it's pleasure, there is no guilt, and vice versa. :P
However... since Linkin Park apparently falls within this category for many, I thought I'd share some instrumentals of them which I think are pretty cool.

(This was on the Matrix soundtrack if I remember correctly)

(This almost have a sliiiiiiight dubstep feel to it. Dubstep lovers will probably spank me for saying so though)

To the people arguing that there should be no guilt in a pleasure. Would you openly to confess to loving when your dog licks nutella off your doodle?... Probably not. There ARE guilty pleasures, as I will demonstrate in the following space.

I believe they are all fantastic songs, but there is definitely guilt associated with each of them. Particularly Alana Lee's 'Butterflies'

I looooooooove MSI.

I do like David Guetta, particularly this below. I got his album but it was a bit of a mixed bag, some of it was pretty average listening and some of it I really liked.

I must confess : those days, I love watching a little Glee episode right after my Meshuggah / Genghis Tron / any-violent-band sessions....
And I don't even feel guilty....
