Went to HMV on my lunch break to buy a DVD and could not make mind.
Not having a life does not give you any right to annoy people who are trying to enjoy it.
Deep Purple, once known as the loudest rock group in history, are still together and this concert, recorded in South Florida, proves the band still hasn't lost any of the punch they had years ago. The original lineup, less guitarist Ritchie Blackmore (who is now replaced with ex/Dixie Dreggs/Kansas guitarist Steve Morse) still woo crowds as they perform their hits from the past, combined with their newer rockers. The entire group sound great with lead vocalist Ian Gillian (looking like a mature man in his 50's, short hair and heavier), keyboard wiz Jon Lord (grey haired pulled back with a poneytail and beard), Ian Paice, Roger Glover and Steve Morse smoking in this concert. Morse, as good as he is doesn't play Blackmore's guitar licks note for note, but does a fine job adding his unique speed guitar techniques to the new and older songs. Songs range from classics Highway Star, Smoke On The Water, Hush, Speed King, to newer songs such as Ted The Mechanic, Sometimes (I Feel Like Crying), Perfect Strangers, and Hey Cisco. This is one dvd you'll definately want if you are a classic rock fan, like me
