sooo...is Deconstruction going to be a concept album?

From what we've all read, yeah, at least in some fashion. I would expect not as much as, say, Punky Bruster or Ziltoid, but sorta.

Anyway, the more I read about the album, the more I think it's dealing with a lot of the same themes that've been going through my life lately. (Although I'm twenty and Dev is forty. Hrm.)

So Deconstruction isn't coming out this year. *SIGH*

I can't say I'm surprised since I couldn't see the album getting finished with the nonstop touring going on. Still the news is a bit of a blow. It will make the wait for the Headlining tour that much harder.

"'Deconstruction' and 'Ghost' are basically finished, and the musicians are for the most part lined up, but I'm one thing at a time and I'm currently focusing on making the live shows as good as they can be, but when the October tour is done, I'm putting three months aside for these albums...and hopefully they will be released simultaneously next May.

"'Deconstruction' is truly a 'tour-de-force' and 'Ghost' is the perfect complement, but until I get time they are archived in notes and awaiting the moment.

At least this means we won't get a rushed product, the albums will be better because of it I'm sure we'll all be able to keep ourselves busy until then.

That's a really long time. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait though!

I was kinda hoping Decon and Ghost would sneak onto store shelves just before June so Dev truly could have put out 4 albums within one year, but releasing 4 albums (5 if you include that live album thingie I read about somewhere on here) in a two-year timeframe is still a grand feat. In fact, thats freaking inspiring. So take your time to perfect the tunes, and I'll be hoping to catch the headlining tour!

I totally understand. You're doing the right thing. It sucks as a fan. I'm not going to lie about it. Deconstruction is on the top of my most wanted list.

You need to do some promotion right now. You can release a million youtubes but it won't have the same impact as getting out there and touring. Good luck and I'll see you in October.
