Yes. I've already done parts 1 and 2 together.

+1
Wanna do it with the other 2 albums!!!!! AAAARRGH

I´m more interested in the last one...I mean, I know Decon it´s gonna be heavy, but the last album, a dessert?!!? How can I compare that sound with something?

yeah, the end of Awake, and that really heavy part in numbered has me even more excited for Decon.

One thing I thought was good, that would make Deconstruction sound brutal is that little part in Numbered when Devin starts screaming and that synthesized whoosh sound syncs with his voice. That sounded crushing and extremely awesome. Other metal artists that wanna get heavier should definitely take note of it. In fact, I'm surprised nobody's tried to copy the Dev yet completely. :lol:

I'm happy now. As long as there's a little bit of speed, and technical riffs, I'm happy.

I'm sure bands like Axis of Perdition have tried it before.

That made me gurgle a little bit in laughter.

I've noticed that devs mentioned a few times that making this kind of music is quite emotionally wracking. What would you say a draining part of making heavy music is? Perhaps as a 20 year old white male, i feel the need for that aggression, sometimes its cathartic for me. One of the reasons I always enjoyed Chimaira, mainly stuff like Decapitated and Nile. I 'spose its how you approach it.

what's awesome about Devin chaotic heavy music is that it's deeper than a simple fast drum beat and growls with agressive guitars, i hope he return to that in this record

Oui, i thought that after i wrote that, quote for truth though, if I didn't listen to that sort of music every so often, I'd go nuts.

indeed man, I agree, it's a primal thing, mental music is good for the soul. Men can be boys ( in a good way). Sometimes we need to let it out.

Mind you, ulver also rule hehe

hahau Ulver, havent heard them in ages. "...And Oceans" are pretty special too. I used to be into alot of that, my bassist rocks all the "grim" BM nowadays - He gets so much shit for it haha.

On the topic of deconstruction, as a side note, any extreme/tech/death that devin takes spiritual inspiration from or admires? or anyone else for that matter - if you like that thing of course.

Phi =(1.618.....) Not fire :D
Although infinite fire could be some other version .conflagration, the 'devouring fire' eshyouhod.

Oh, and for the un-initiated asking themselves, "wtf? Why is this of any importance to ME?"
