Hellz yeah

Seriously though, if heavy metal from this day forward had to be restricted to one guitar tone, it should either be the one on Catch 33, Obzen, or Roots by Sepultera.

Or City. Or Accelerated Evolution.

Or "Waon" by UVERworld. Yes. That is the most versatile.

Actually heavy metal guitar tones should just not be restricted. This whole hypothetical situation was dumb anyways.

existentialist wrote:Fuck yes. When I say Industrial I mostly mean the guitar tone. Maybe because I want every metal album to sound exactly like Catch 33. Scott just said you like the Bulb? Something like his tone as well would be amazing. The word I am looking for is: djent.

Dev has a POD X3 and is getting an Axe FX, djent is easy to achieve.

Oh.

No.

Nope. More like Van Halen with a tube screamer and lots of echo.

Sorry!

Well I hope you get more into it. Could you work on the 4th album for awhile? It seems like you really want to. Or do you NEED to finish Deconstruction first?

Now that sounds interesting, especially for an album that is said to be quite heavy.

Honestly...

I'm less into it now than I was a few hours ago.

Just kidding! It's going to sound like Meshuggah and have death metal vocals.

Dev, you're confusing as hell, do you know that? :)

Do you understand how hard it is to tell my friends what you're going to do next when you change your opinion every hour or so!?

Meshuggah with Åkerfeld's vocals is my wet dream.

I imagine a Meshuggah with an Akerfeldt/Devin vocal pairing.
