You all rule!!

Give me one more week and I'll rock with you, I'll get some graphics, some downloadable 'exclusive' tracks, and a big explanation of this project!

After the 4 albums, we are doing an 8 cd box set (4 albums plus 4 bonus disk and videos plus a big booklet)

Give me one more week...I'm doing some work right now that has me predisposed for a few more days!

You guys are what make this work...thank you so much...

And you, my friend, are the fuel for our flame! Having an internationally known artist with such a following posting direct updates to his fans is an incredible thing in today's world. Granted the internet is mostly to thank for such interaction, it's still so great to see an artist take such an interest in keeping his fans informed and all!

So thank YOU, Dev!

Hey Guys,

the german equivalent to facebook is StudiVZ or MeinVZ.

I formed a group called "Devin Townsend Projects" to spread the word.

So every German using this board: Join the group and invite all your friends.

Can't find the group, but maybe it just takes some time to appear. I´m from Essen, too, by the way.

EDIT: Found it. Were you btw responsible for playing SYL-videos at the NYC-Rockstation-party? If so, good job!

I don't use Facebook

but i do use Orkut (which is pretty huge in Brazil), and i'm a metal forum admin (which is slowly growing, but still), AND i admin the page for this metal event in my city which is somewhat big (underground-wise), so i could just stick a banner there without asking for anyone's permission

If there's anything i can help you guys from the southern hot lands, do tell!

I'm telling most of my friends about it, also did the facebook invite thing, and I'm gonna talk to the store owner of Mefisto which is a pretty big recordstore for metal here in Stavanger, maybe get him to import a few copies when it's released.

:o Is that just gonna be your 4 already announced albums from this summer plus bonus disks or is it 4 albums of new material off in the future?

I should be more than happy to lend a hand about the promotional malarkey as well. Don't think there's anyone on this board besides me from around this part of Ireland..

I stuck the facebook page up on his LastFM pages as well. Hopefully that'll get a good bit of attention. Also, dunno how popular Bebo is around the world anymore but its big-ish enough here, even though its been eclipsed by facebook recently.. But anyway:

The job that I have, I have to be very social. I talk to about 50 different people for twenty minutes each and they're always different. I always have Devin Townsend playing to let them know and more often than not, they ask what I'm listening to, Spread the word! We should form a real street team though where we register on the site and then get promotional shit mailed to us so we can put it up around music stores in our area and the such.
