I used to get insane amounts/intensity of deja vu when I was about 14/15, and also these dreams that were so vivid I couldn't tell what was dream and what had really happened, but it only lasted a few months, I put it down to hormones and growing and stuff, now I only get it very rarely

Anybody here ever read the New Scientist? Very cool reading in there....but maybe not very metal.

There was a big article in that about Deja-vu, and the general idea to explain it was that they reckoned it was due to your brain 'mis-firing' and accidentally registering the information from your eyes twice instead of once....so when you got the feeling you had seen something before, it was because you actually had, only a second ago. There was some reason for this explanation beyond hypothesising, but I cant remember it.

Deja vu, most definatly real. It happens to too many people too often to be denied.

I constantly am afflicted by it.

did you guys notice that in the first matrix he sees the cat and goes.. "woah i just had deja vu" then at the end of the last matrix the cat goes by again...
