I posted about the super metroid resemblence a week or two ago too, it is kinda similar.. a lot. Coincidence I imagine.

The font is called Adventure (Normal).

And I don't see how the Metroid logo is really similar.

If you flip the Ziltoid logo, it's pretty similar.

First off it's S vs. Z and the Metroid one is more mechanical looking with no 3d interaction with the letter and the circle. Plus the O stands for Omniscient and it has what appears to be coffee in the center. You guys might as well be comparing it to the Ghostbusters logo.

Put any letter inside a circle and you can argue about the resemblance. Ziltoid logo owns period.
