I think Still Life is a good album though. Ocean Machine is better than it though, and Terria is better than both!

Terria is a wonderous aural apparition, worthy of delights too wonderous to splendour. However, it does not eclipseth the god-like magnitude of the ecletic masterpiece that is 'Ocean Machine'

Would I be out of line in saying that Opeth's My Arms, Your Hearse is the best album they've ever conceived?

I've always liked Terria more than OM. The just feels more lush and alive, and the songs are more 'out there' than those on OM.

Still the best album I have ever heard in my life. As close to musical perfection as I have beheld.

Oh, and for what it's worth I have a feeling Devin may just better it one day soon enough.

Infinity took me the longest to "click" in that way.......enjoy.

Yeah, that's the only album that didn't click with me in the first few listens.

It wasn't until I saw Devin Townsend live for the first time, and he opened with Truth, that I really got it. I have no idea how I managed to miss the epicness of that song before.

I don't really thing Ocean Machine is perfect, but its probably the best debut album I've ever heard.
