It says mainly that "For the Love of God" by Steve Vai helps to concentrate better on cognitive tasks (like some classical music does). I´m posting this because it´s always nice to find something about artists on mainstream-massmedia who are not well know in the "non-metal-universe".

Dude, I can't believe the coincidence! Right now I'm writing a graduate thesis or diploma or whatever on music pedagogics for my friend (yeah, illegal, but good money). The subject: the elusive and evasive Mozart Effect, dealing generaly with the non-musical effects of (some pieces of) music on human brain and development. So it's nice to read one of my all-time musical heroes is on par with the classics, haha. Great stuff.

I love that song. It's probably my favorite Vai song. Sometimes I feel all burnt out on it when it first comes on my iPod or something. And then I'm listening and just loving it all over again. It's a great great song. I also think Lotus Feet off the new album is very fine.
