Two teams on par, almost no scenes in the penalty area but still a nerve-racking match.
In the first half of the 120 minutes, Argentina was dominant and the much better team, but they had only one scoring chance - and scored. Then Pekerman did everything wrong with his exchanges and Klinsmann did everything right. The second half of the match belonged to Germany (still tight though) and Klose striked again in his first and only good scene of the evening. I was almost astonished to see how confident our players did their penalties. And Jens Lehmann dominated!
Obviously Italy finally managed to play a good match against Ukraine so let's see what happens on Tuesday... Bring it on!

Ahh burned in two of the last three WC's by Zinedine Zidane... I didn't have a whole lot against the French before, but I really really don't like them now, lol. And on the one hand, I want to hate Zidane but I've always supported him and whatever club he's been a part of.
