The answer is in the question, this song festival is hell on earth, it's that simple^^.

Some lame singers from each european country singing some crap, usually some lame lyrics on a music as uninspired as possible. I guess the only goal is to sell as much singles as possible in each country and to get as much money as possible from ads during the program.
Most of 'em sing in english, so that european concept is meaningless...

3 guys and 3 girls, not chosen for their face rather than their talent -NOT AT ALL- singing stuff about how we should all love ourselves and live in harmony or something...

That's the thing. This ESC is everything except anything sensible. The only bigger band ever to take part has been ABBA, and even then, they participated before they were that big.

It's not about any actually good bands, it's more about the most mindless, dull, silly songs ever. You simply cannot expect anything good on the ESC

I asked my mother last year why does she watch that crap (I had to sleep in front of the TV and it was keeping me awake.) even though she herself thought it was pure shit. Her generation were brainwashed to think eurovision is a big deal and I've heard it was many years ago.

Why would you do that to us?! That is fucking awful. He looks like Gazza, the singing is dreadful, the rap is crap and the lyrics don't make sense - "What did you learn in school today, that's what the teachers say". No!
