i dug the 80s up to mid 90s godzilla he was nast and meanier and way cool effects mixed in. 1985 and biolante were pretty good. but the goffy godzilla movies of the late 60s and seventiesare fun to watch ofr a laugh
the orginal is a classic monster movie film just awesome.

I´ve only seen the hollywood-crap-version. Thought the effects were kinda cool in it... whatever.

By the way, I saw Inside Man today, I think it was actually really good. I think the style differed from usual crime-thrillers becouse this one had a nice piece of humour in it too without making it stupid. The music was kinda cool too (but don´t get me wrong, there wasn´t any Metal in it ). It was also nice to see this style of movie that didn´t have a crapload of violence like they usually do!

I know it sounds weird, me being a fan of heavy and hard forms of music and all, but I have never really been into monster movies of any type, don't know why, they just never appealed to me.

Gamera: The Brave will be insane, it seems weird redesigning the character yet again though, it seems to be an origin story.

I've seen a couple of Godzilla films on Tv, also seen the hollywood one.... so I'm both cool, and un-cool.....

Well, from the interviews I gleaned and such, it seems like it's mainly a movie, that happens to have monsters.. rather than a monster movie. The director said he wanted it to be the anti-monster movie monster movie, he wants the script to really affect people.. I'm really excited for it personally!
