hmmm..

Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven
Smashing Pumpkins - Mayonaise
Sarah McLachlan - Full of Grace
Pain of Salvation - Oblivean Ocean

I know there are one or two more which should be the first to spring to mind here

Plus, countless Devin songs...nothing touches me more, but talking about that is too obvious, and I'll end up listing most of them...Devin, you are officially disqualified from my list

Hmm I think there's a difference between a beautiful song, and a song that makes you cry. The song could easily be both, but that doesn't mean they're the same.

Perhaps another thread for this?

oh no, it has been made already, just mentioned the "cry bizness" by way of an example, as in deep emotions elicited from the song

Chopin - Raindrop Prelude

Go on, listen to it.

Rock song?

Mouse by Chromakey. The only song to CONSISTENTLY bring back memories of the horror you felt when the worst thing that happened in your life....err...happened.

Beautiful. :D

For some reason, when it's dark and I only have my music to keep me company, the song that I find the most emotionally beautiful is Bastard.

Atmosphere is always the thing that gets me in music and Bastard is loaded with it.
