a friend loaned me a dvd by these band and told me they are insane, anyone like them or seen them live?

I've seen live footage and I've heard many of their CDs, and I gotta say that I agree with you. Nick Oliveri of Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age fame was in the group at one point too. Anyway, yeah, just some fast paced aggressive punk rock that kicks my ass.
