time to get all philosophical.....if you had to pick something which defines beauty for you personally, what would it be?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is in things that make you go 'aaaaahhh', so let's talk about sex rather.

My significant other. Not simply because of the way she looks physically, but because she is so sweet, smart, kind and all around fun. She's like no one else...she is beautiful.

hehe, I agree, to me it's the look in my boyfriend's eyes (which to me communicates all the physical appearance and everything else - eyes are so celever like that)

I find beauty in the way my son looks when he accomplishes something without my direct intervention, or when my daughter is out playing without a care in the world. No stress from bills, no responsibilities greater than keeping your room clean, just a world where every day brings new possibilities and discoveries.

Almost everything else in the world is manufactured or manipulated to be beautiful. Women who giggle to attract a man, or when a man postures so that a woman will know that he is "virile" enough. The ass kissing of a boss so that you don't lose your job, the caving of ideals and swallowing of pride so that you can keep your family together one more day. Beauty is purity...and there's little of that in this world.

That's why I like Dev's music so much; the naked emotions and thoughts that I perceive to be true when I hear the music and the lyrics help me think that there might be something worthwhile after all, besides the immediacy of my family.
