Question: would the Superbit version of Dark Crystal be considerably different from original in quality?

Cool. I have the Dark Crystal font on my computer :).
Or at least I did have.

Perhaps European people don't know that movie.

Self Embarassaing Story Alert

I saw the Dark Crystal in the theaters when I was 8 or 9 years old. It scared the shit out of me. I spent most of the time hiding behind the chairs in the cinema.

Now at the age of 32 I still can't bring myself to watch it. Forget Freddy, Jason, Michael of Pinhead they don't hold a candle to the Skeksis in terms of overall fear in my time of watching movies.

I am in total agreeance with you on that one. The Dark Crystal was one of those films that fucked me up when I saw it aged 4 or so and I have NEVER been able to bring myself to go back to it. I feel ridiculous! There was another film like this that fucked me up around the same age - Krull. Did anyone see that one? There's a scene with a guy getting squashed between two walls that is burned into my early childhood experience...

Puzzleface: Hehe, wow you're one big pussy....kidding. :)
Childhood experiences like that can really screw with your mind. I remember seeing a showerscene from Friday the 13:th (don't remember which one) WAY too early for my own good. I couldn't take a shower without beeing scared shitless, for years!
