The first track was very nice, but now on the second song he is trying to sound like JP from Charon, a Finnish teen girl metal band, like Him but a bit heavier (they used to kick ass but then changed style completely, such a loss )

For me, the albums are more like:

Tales from the Thousand Lakes: A
Elegy: A
Tuonela: A
Am Universum: B+
Far from the Sun: C+
Eclipse: B+

FFTS was good on the first few listens, but became sort of bland afterwards, save for a couple of songs. Eclipse is definitely a much better effort, with a return to a more melancholic style. It's a mixture of the heaviness of Elegy & Tales with the melancholy of Tuonela. A fine combination if you ask me.

I never really liked the original singer at all. Hopefully this dude is better.

I've been listening to the album a lot this week in the army, and it's turned out to be a very nice album indeed The entirety rolls very well and the songs are nice, I'd say this will have a good stand in the Top 10 of 2006 by the end of the year.
