I've just got Transgression for Christmas and I think it's one of the best albums they've done for ages. Not the heaviest but very dynamic.

Ignoring the remix albums/eps, which is your favourite Fear Factory album?

If for "Resurrection" alone, I lean towards Obsolete. Of course, for dynamics, it also fits the bill. I even like "Cars" from the digipak. Besides, it's got the song "Where Evil Dwells", which opens with "Long Live the New Flesh"

Demanufacture, its just so fucking heavy and industrial, where as obsolete was a little less death metal-ish and had waaaaaay mor industrial in it. i like the balance that demanufacture had with the 2 sounds. also the obsolete concept is fucking awesome.

I really loved Obsolete, but my interest begun to wane when Archetype was released. I really didnt get into it at all. I havent heard anything from the latest album. My mate keeps going on about it but i dont know. i may download some tracks then go and buy if i like.

the album that got me into metal (prepares to get flamed) was digimortal , now i cant stand the album and love the rest of the stuff...

definitely Demanufacture, though I do like the direction they are taking recently with both Archetype and Transgression.
