I can, I would rather a DTB tour than a new SYL album. lol

I have seen SYL twice, and never seen the DTB yet. The DTB is my favorite band, and its just rediculous that I havent seen them yet, but they dont tour too much. Its too bad that this probably wont happen. I was really looking forward to this.

I wonder what the new SYL album will be like? Any potential names yet?

So Devin isn't going to tour to promote Synchestra at all? What gives?

Seriously, this is a bigger letdown than hearing Motley Crue was doing a reunion tour. I'm so bummed out I might skip Christmas altogether and just sit in my darkened room, listening to Ocean Machine, wondering how good these songs would sound live.

What if we beg and plead and beg some more? Can we possibly persuade Dev and the rest of the SYL gang to hold off recording a new album until late summer? I've seen SYL twice, but never the DTB. And to see DTB alongside Opeth would be a MAJOR dream come true. And I told all my friends about the tour too.... they're going to be so depressed now....

If there's pressure being put on from Century Media (i'm not saying there is, but it's possible), then that's the way it'll be.

How many albums do SYL have to pump out to ease the pressure?

I know it's a meal ticket, and I am a fan of SYL (although I don't really rate the last 2 as much as the previous 2) & the band members all rule!

But I'm a much bigger fan of Dev's solo stuff & have been since I first heard Biomech & it's a shame that we might not see a tour of Sychestra, but I get the feeling that it's perceived by devin as an album album rather than a live album.
