The place to speak about Dev's current projects, and everything yet to come

I was just reading through the Wikipedia entry on Devy, and I noticed that it said Devy originally described Ocean Machine as "blue" and SYL as "red". Infinity he called "white". This got me thinking what Devy would think of the rest of his albums in accordance with colors. Personally I'd think of Physicist as a light brown, Terria no doubt green, Accellerated Evolution a light gray and Synchestra...well, something warm and friendly.

How about you guys? Have you heard of anything of this nature?

Hah, sorry, green.

Hah, that's interesting...for some reason, I too make a sort of association with albums and colors. I think you're most correct (the thread starter), except I'd consider AE to be more of a forest green. "Terria" is green too, but it's a very different shade of green...more of an ocean green.

Colors relate to numbers, relate to sound. So it's not weird I guess to classify songs, albums and artists by colors.

Synesthesia. :)

A friend of mine has that condition... she sees colours and images in her head when listening to songs or exposed to some fragrances...

She imagined dark blue and the ocean when listening to Death of Music, and she was surprised it was from "Ocean Machine"! :D

Wow that's pretty cool. If I'd have to have a condition, I'd want that one.

True, ill usually think of the cover art of an album and when i listen to it, the overall pictures in my head are like the cover art colour

My mum 'suffers' from this. She has very visual interpretations of any music. Also, when she begins to fall asleep she goes into a strange psychedelic head trip involving lots of flying colours and rainbows.

Could be worse!

I'd give Physicist a jet black, instead of brown. Like the night sky.

Glad to hear it - I always figured that. Brown for earth.

That handily leaves green free for Synchestra, I guess ?
