There is only one author I'm going to list because I'm in love with her books entirely...almost no room for anything else.

Jaqueline Cary - Kushiel's Dart, Kushiel's Chosen (my fav of all hers), Kushiel's Avatar, Banewreaker, Godslayer.

She blends opposites together into the most beautiful and powerful tale ever.
...I finished Godslayer yesterday and I don't think I'll stop being depressed about it for at least another week...

OK here's some of mine.

'Wonderland Avenue' - Danny Sugerman (one hell of a book)

Anything by that crazy bastard Chuck Palahniuk, my favourite of his would maybe be 'Choke'.

'Spear of Destiny' - Trevor Ravenscroft (which I just finished, blew my fucking mind)

so much more...

HAve you read anything by Ed Lorenz or about Chaos Theory in general? I'm no good at math, but the Chaos Theory stuff is fascinating.

Well I meant to say most books I "read" are for school.

I don't know what my favourite book would be, but Robert Anton Wilson is my favourite writer. The last book I read was The Zealator by David Ovason and I'm about to hit up some more Tibetan stuff.

Oh, and I really enjoyed Yann Maretl's Life of Pi on holiday...I just love the effort and detail that went into all of it.

And currently enjoying hitchikers guide for the first time :)

My very favorite book of all time would be the Lord of the Rings. It may not be very fashionable, but it's true.

I also enjoy...
Weaveworld by Clive Barker (well, most books by him are quite good).
A Prayer for Owen Meany (as I said...)

and, at the risk of being completely humiliated...

I love the Harry Potter books.

Fuck you, they're good. ;-) Stop laughing now.
