If there's another bombing here, it might spark something off.

I'm not proud of being german - and I don't say this regarding german history, I think I also wouldn't feel this kind of connection to my country if I lived somewhere else (though that's quite hypothetical). I'm neither proud of being german nor do I have a feeling of guilt (I'm speaking of guilt and not of consciousness) for what happened in this country's history. I'm responsible for myself, for my own life and for the things I do to others. And so is every human being in the very first place. And, as a result of that, I can only be proud of myself since I didn't have any influences on a country's achievements decades and centuries ago. So often I get the feeling that racists "create" their hate for people whose skin has a different colour than theirs to fill the emptiness they have right where others have something that is called "identity"

Cool, Chris.
Nor should you feel any guilt about what has gone before in your Nation's history. You do have a responsibilty of a sort to make sure that those kinds of events never take place again...but then, so do we all - no matter the location.

Im racist towards racists :D

Seriously, why is the world so fucked up sometimes. Its funny because people get judged by so many different things these days, even regarding music! "Oh you listen to SYL, you must worship satan and beat people up", em, no lol

Racism, homophobia and discrimination all go hand in hand and IMHO are pathetic.

It now seems that Sydney lives quite a segregated city which is really sad, Im sure you guys i.e. Mo,SJ, Flood of Rain etc really dont want it to be like that at all.

That was an interesting read Mo, thanks :)
