Is there any interest in creating such an account ? If you don't have music to share ?

Well personnally I should extend my real life, not my virtual one

I've just create a last.fm account, there's not much to do, but at least it won't fuck up my stats (unlike winamp library) next time I format my harddrive.

That's interesting how it recommends some artist based on what you're listening. (if anyone wants to add me as a friend^^ : Falk_Oomikami )

Edit : mmh, the recommendation system is not perfect : right now I should give a listen to radiohead the white stripes weezer smashing pumkins ... I'm not really considering those bands at the level of Faith No More, if that's what bring 'em in the recommendations...

Las.FM rocks, I've been using it for over a year (reset my stats recently tho) and it really owns. Not a great fan of the new layout, but the new features are cool and that's what it's about.

i just checked out the tinyvoices website and rather enjoyed it. what's the story with that site?

Tinyvoices is a music webzine i've been involved in - my friend started it a couple of years ago and i joined as a reviewer. we've been gathering pr contacts and basically buklding things up, and now we have quite a lot of people on board...although i've had to drop out for the time being 'cos i've got no time. It's centered in Nottingham in England although we now have people al over the country writing for us. We're pretty eclectic as well, covering more genres than most i think.

anyway, cheers for checking us out!

I think i only disagreed with two things, that the White Stripes "Elephant" was rubbish (it's genius!) and the Alkaline Trio's "Good Mourning" was a let down (it's great!). Aside from that, cool site. I shall check it out when i can.
