Very cool to see so many different versions of 'heavy'...all valid!
Just proves that we define heaviness purely on a personal level. There is no standard.
Good stuff!

just thought ide slip that in there.
That just got me thinking about MC5 and the Kinks, which for their time were very heavy bands, I think the Kinks released their first stuff in 1965 (could be wrong though), and MC5 were not far behind.

Are you talking about "heaviest guitar tone" now? - When Iommi hits the first chord it's a fucking heavy moment, oh yeah. Otherwise, I think the whole production of Sab's Paranoid is a bit... thin.
I know, it was in 1970. But one year later, Master Of Reality had a much thicker sound (especially the guitars)
Btw, ever checked out Faith No More's War Pigs-cover? Great one.
i can and i can not
Yeah i'm talking about that first bit.
And ywah, Faith No More do a fucking blisteringly good cover of War Pigs. Nice fat production and it sounds great when all beefed up.
However, many years ago i saw Korn play, and they were supported by Puddle Of Mudd. And THEY did a cover of War Pigs! THEY HAD NO RIGHT!!
