Since I seemed to have missed this the first time round...
You're all wrong! The Who are better than both of these bands

The Who were my favourites - over 15 years ago, when I was a child. Some months ago I started putting them on heavy rotation again, but except for maybe Tommy (though there are exceptions too) I only get into some songs of them.
Keith Moon was too funny to be true.
i can and i can not
agreed.
The Stones rocked, but Mick's voice kills me.

Regal that photo of Richards looks almost like Alfred E Neuman.
The Beatles and Rolling Stones both bring back alot of memories for me, because those bands were the ones that got me so interested in music, and into the career i'm into now, Radio. Too bad I'm working for a country station.
Beatles would have to be the most influential band, Ever, thats my opinion though. I was never into the early stuff by the Beatles I was more into the psychedelic sound of their later releases
Rolling Stones is what got me into Rock N Roll. 'Street Fighting Man' (Screw Led Zeppelins Stairway to Heaven) was always one of my favorites. Sticky Finger and Beggars Banquet two of my favorite albums.
Harrison's 80's albums, I've always liked Cloud 9. Sure "Got My Mind Set On You" was one of those tunes so freakin catchy that would always drive you nuts, but I cant help from liking it.
Ringo (The Beatle no one seems to care about) had some great stuff like The No No song that and It Dont Come Easy.

You have already grasped that Sisyphus is the absurd hero. He is, as much through his passions as through his torture. His scorn of the gods, his hatred of death, and his passion for life won him that unspeakable penalty in which the whole being is exerted toward accomplishing nothing. This is the price that must be paid for the passions of this earth.- Camus
It's going against popular opinion. But I have to stand by what I like most, And thats the Stones.
The Beatles are good of course, but the Stones have always just appealed to me more, both bands though=great.

what an important thread. I would pick Keith Richards and Lennon and forget about rest of the guys. They would have good band...
But to the poll, Same era, different genre. Can not pick.

Not having a life does not give you any right to annoy people who are trying to enjoy it.
