Add Johan Reiholdz (Andromeda/Nonexist) to that group and you have a recipe for the greatest album ever written. Just get Peter Wildoer (Darkane) to play drums on it.

FINALLY someone who lists MAYH besides me. While all the Opeth albums are amazing, MAYH just blows away the others. Still Life and Blackwater Park are great, but they have their weak moments, at least for Opeth standards. When has the best ending to any song ever and the whole album flows perfectly. Not to mention the lyrical concept is something I've never seen done anywhere before, having the last word(s) of each song be the title of the following song. Then, the final word of the last song is the title of the first song, making the album an eternal circle. MAYH is Opeth's defining moment. Here's my list of Opeth albums from best to least best:

1. My Arms, Your Hearse
2. Damnation
3. Blackwater Park
4. Still Life
5. Deliverance
6. Morningrise
7. Orchid

I pretty much like all of the Opeth albums the same amount, with maybe Orchid being a step below. Each time I listen to one of them I'm like "Now THIS is the best Opeth album!". :D I do the same thing with Dev's releases.

Like I said in the beginning of the thread, those lists are so goddamn boring to even try to read through. But enough with complaining, I just felt like saying two things:

1) I don't get how From The Choirgirl Hotel can be considered better than Little Earthquakes or Under The Pink.

2) IX Equilibrium isn't what I'm Emperor about.

Ok three things.

3) Still Life.

"actually, he's right, greenday do suck, you shouldn't be ashamed, you should just stop liking them."

See that's what I'm talking about, I figured this to be the wrong forum for punkrock and I guess I was right. But that's cool, as long as everyone agrees that Dev is the man.

Greenday don't suck, they're much better than anything else punk has to offer.
Also, punk sucks. The only good punk ever made (besides some Greenday and AFI,) is the shit Dev made, and even that seemed to be making fun of the shitty genre.

In the end, it's all a matter of taste.
I like Green Day, especially the new album, because it's way more sophisticated, and musically interesting, than anything else punkrock has to offer these days.
And other people don't like Green Day, well... that's life.
