hell yeah...I even bought those pink glases...although they looked so crappy. Good old times.

Oh look! A TV advert with bright shiny colours and sing-song music!

You've got to be kidding me. If I had the Freedom of Insult this would be a good place.
Oh sure. Go for it. You know how many times I've insulted you for your opinions.
Opinions suck. Based on outside information manipulated by media for different motives. Only the voices inside your head are true.
EDIT O'Reilly = FAIR AND BALANCED ?????????

Not having a life does not give you any right to annoy people who are trying to enjoy it.

And Bret Hart was a king !!! KING OF THE RING
agreed...
what is he up to now?? he's probably too old to wrestle i reckon. do you remember when his brother owen died in the ring? that really sucked.
PS. this is what the alphabet would look like if q and r were eliminated.
He probably is retired now...don´t think he wants to be like Macho Man and wrestle as a senior. And yeah, I think Owen died when he wanted to do a stunt with a rope right? What I also remember is that Bret Hart always had tons of oil in his hair.

He's retired yes, also two of his brothers died (Owen heart's accident, I'm sure you remember) and his brother in law Davey boy smith the british bulldog died of a heart attack too ... It was weird because with a friend at work we collected info about old wrestlers we used to like as kids and a lot of them died of heart attacks or drugs abuse : Big boss man, Mr perfect, Lady elizabeth (ok she was not a wrestler), texas tornado (the whole family died), Hercules, Yokozuna ... etc

British Bulldog is dead too? Damn, that family really isn´t the most lucky one. He was one of my favs back in the old days and I even saw him and both Hart bros live twice
wow, they all died of heart attacks? Then again with all the stuff they have to eat to build up muscles, it´s not really a huge surprise. Bossman was one of my favs too.
Pro Wrestling. More like amateur theater. Is there any coincidence that Speedos are the garments of choice in that sad "sport"?
Anyway, back on topic.
Want to address the political correctness thing for a minute. At it's heart it's a good idea with sound intentions. Just like democracy! However, it's gotten bloated, stupid and obnoxious. Affirmative action is more along the lines of actually trying to create equality in schools and the workplace. Political correctness is just people making up dumb terms for things that other people might find offensive. However, alot of the time the words and actions of the politically correct end up being more offensive and do more harm than good.
Like the idea of calling someone that's short "vertically challenged". Fuck that, the person is short and they know it and probably don't give a fuck about it. If you straight out call the person a midget or something than that's a dumb thing to do, but the word short isn't a negative term to begin with. Or take for instance the word Handicapped. Under PC terms you are supposed to call them "Physically challenged". Now, I've known quite a few handicapped people throughout my life and have been friends with a few. I never heard one of them complain about the term handicap and are actually more offended that people would go out of their way to create a new word for their condition. These people just want to be treated like people, not like some special case that deserves a special word and special attention.
In summary, people should just treat each other with the same amount of respect as they would treat anyone else. No special dispensation because of they are going bald or because they are gay. Just talk to them and learn something about them and use their language. Don't assume they are some wounded animal that needs our sympathy and they won't see us as a bunch of pricks that pity them because they are different.
On another note, I mentioned Affirmative Action earlier. Another one of those great ideas with so-so results. I am all for a diverse work culture and I believe that the best man or woman for a job is the one that deserves it. However, sometimes it has been misused so that people that are less qualified for a job than other applicants get hired simply because of their ethnicity or the color of the skin. That's racism of a different form and entirely moronic.
People try so hard to make things equal and fair for everyone these days that they totally miss the point. Equality is not about carving out a path for people to follow and giving them success regardless of what they've accomplished, it's more about giving everyone the opportunity to carve their own path and have the same benefits from their successes as anyone else would.

Here is a perfect example of "political correctness":
School Board Cancels Halloween
Thursday, October 28, 2004
A new rule means no school for 20,000 little ghosts and goblins in Puyallup (search), Wash.
School officials there have designated “no Halloween (search), costume-free zones†to stop kids from coming to school in costume. They say ugly witch costumes, with their pointy hats and crooked noses, are insensitive to real-life practicing Wiccans.
"We work really hard to teach our students to be respectful of traditions and cultures that are held by people other than themselves. The Wiccan religion is one of those religions," said school district spokesperson Karen Hanson.
Wicca (search), an ancient pagan belief rooted in worshipping nature, is recognized by the federal government as a religion and followers openly practice witchcraft, complete with magic potions.
However, there are no exact numbers on how many people out there are casting spells -- some say maybe 100,000 nationwide. FOX News was unable to track down a Wiccan in Puyallup.
But there were plenty of wicked angry parents at this week’s school board meeting in the city. Parents took turns saying that this cultural celebration that has been around for centuries, and should not be taken away from the children.
A real-life witch who lives in nearby Tacoma agreed that the superintendent in Puyallup must be off his broomstick.
"I see Halloween more as a holiday, a fun time for them. Some of us Wiccan have a deeper meaning under it, but I don't think we should take away from the kids," Wiccan Marjenna Gittings said.
