Woo-wee. And people wonder why I avoid political threads!
Of course taking an IQ test was a joke. It
would be nice if people voted because they were informed about issues and knew
why they were voting for someone, but an IQ test would be impossible to implement in the first place...but it was a joke.
And I shouldn't have to defend my stance on political correctness. There are too many instances where it has gotten out-of-hand, and I'm not referring to "equal oppotunity" or "civil rights". Those are completely different things.
Talk Radio. Guess it depends on what shows you listen to. Most of the shows I tune in to are from Independant hosts. Yes, I watch Fox News along with the other news programs, but if there was no Fox News, I'd only hear the liberal side. And I think they do a pretty good damned job of being fair, but democrats hate Fox News because it kicks eveyone else's asses in the ratings (aside from network news, which is free and in almost every household) and it shows the other side, the "evil right wing" side.
21st Century Jesus: You stated something I never knew, and I'm always up for more education.

Where in the US is it criminal to have sex before marriage? This is interesting to me!
You know what I find ironic about all of this? I'm having to defend what little statements I've made in this thread because my point of view differs from some of you...most of you. Yet "liberals" are supposedly free-thinkers and more "accepting" of other people's opinions and beliefs. More "understanding". Is this true?
