Personally, I plan to vote for Kerry. I have friends who plan to vote for Bush, and even my fiancee may be voting for Bush, her reasoning partially being that after hearing what Kerry had to say at the debates, she liked what he said, but doesn't realistically think he'll be able to carry it out. My republican/conservative friends because they really do believe he's doing a good job, they think that it might be dangerous to change leadership in the middle of this whole mid-East cluster-fuck, and they remember the huge checks they got from Bush's tax cut after his first year in office. When you pay people, it makes a difference.

Personally, I'm almost a full-blown socialist according to every political quiz or test I've ever taken. The word "tax" is so loaded that it's almost impossible to have a calm discussion over it. Taxes aren't necessarily a bad thing. When taxes get cut, it means that things one takes for granted aren't getting paid for anymore without one thinking about it, so, while one might have more take-home pay after a tax cut, you're just turning around and spending it on something that you used to not have to worry about paying for. The phrase "big government" doesn't scare me, it's a spin tactic that the right uses to scare us commoners.

Exactly when did he say that? He might have changed his mind in the meantime.
EDIT: Talking about Kerry and nukes.

Let me make this clear yet again...

HEY! NOT ALL REPUBLICANS ARE CHRISTIANS OR RELIGIOUS! IN FACT, THE MAJORITY OF REPUBLICANS I KNOW ARE AGNOSTIC! INCLUDING ME!!!

*sigh* The Big And Popular Myth. Sorry for shouting.

And no, I didn't vote in this poll.

Clinton, Bush or Kerry same program

Bush uses clinton's strategy and now Clinton says that Kerry is the right guy for the job and supports him. In the end the result will be the same

I totally agree that Kerry´s foreign policy won´t be really different. In fact probably the same as Bush´s. But I still am hoping that Kerry will handle some specific domestic issues better than Bush does and is planning to do. But then again, who knows. Politicians will tell you anything for votes. That´s why I say: John Stewart for President!

You live in Washington State though. Go down to Texas, Alabama, Tennesse, etc and it's pretty much a universal thing. The South is a scary place sometimes.

No election in canada, we just (unfortunately) voted for a communist ^.^

I don't know too much info on the two candidates, but personally i feel neither of them are capable of running a country.

Meh, communists are fine, as long as they aren't fascists (like Stalin) who pretend to be communists.

I don't agree on the statement that the foreign politics of Bush and Kerry are the same.
I know for certain that if Kerry gets elected he will remove a lot (if not all) soldiers from Iraq. Bush will probably sent more, and I'm almost certain that when Bush gets re-elected he will have chosen another sovereign state to invade, because they're 'harboring terrorists' or 'creating weapons of mass-destruction'. Neither of these men are my 'favorite' but I know for sure that Kerry and the people behind him, are way better in using their brains and logical thinking. Also it seems to me that Kerry is more concerned about the environment than Bush is. Kerry would NOT walk out of the Kyoto meeting like some stupid child, who doesn't like to be reminded on his weak points.
Hopefully for you people in the US, Kerry will have a better plan for employment and the economy on the whole, as for Bush, who doesn't give a rat's a$$ about the people in the US.
