anyone else in here really not bothered in the slightest by the likes of Meshuggah, Dillinger Escape Plan and fuck knows how many others?

Yes, new Dillinger Escape plan cd is the best release of the year so far imo. That is just my opinion though,

I like Meshuggah, but can't get used to all this Relapse Records stuff.

ditto. i'm not entirely sure what falls under "noisecore", i like meshuggah but probably not most of the bands in this category.

I think of bands like Fear of God and Agoraphobic Nosebleed as Noisecore. Its good shit!

I personally love Meshuggah and Dillinger Escape Plan. They´re two of my favorite bands. I wouldn´t call Meshuggah noisecore anyways because there´s simply no Harcore in their music IMO. I like good noisecore bands but don´t give much of a damn about Converge for example.

well "noisecore" was the loose term applied by magaziens, and me, to bands like DEP and Meshuggah....
